We are very excited for our first meeting of the semester. L Brands industry professionals will be joining us to review resumes and share networking tips for the upcoming career fair. Additionally, we will be serving Buckeye Donuts.
BOMS is kicking off the semester with a professional development and resume workshop this Wednesday, August 29th. Bring a hard copy of your resume to be edited by industry professionals and Fisher faculty! We will also be taking headshots, so be sure to dress in business professional attire if you would like one!
One benefit of being a member of BOMS is that you have the opportunity to have your resume included in the BOMS Resume Book, which is given to our partner companies attending the Fisher Career Fair (September 5th). By attending our professional development and resume workshop, you have the opportunity to have your resume critiqued before the career fair. After getting it critiqued at the workshop, please e-mail your resume in Microsoft Word format to our VP of Professional Development, Connor Buehler (Buehler.email@example.com), NO LATER THAN Friday, August 31st at 8:00am. If you would like your resume to be in our resume book, but you cannot attend the workshop, still send in your resume by this time.
Our meetings this semester will be held in Schoenbaum Hall 305, with food being served at 7:15pm and the meetings running from 7:30 - 8:30pm. If you have any questions about this event or BOMS in general, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or talk to an officer at our events.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
